FOIL Quest: Assessmment Data Excel Format

I have obtained the Town of Evans assessment data in Microsoft Excel since 2007. In 2019, I sent an email to the town's assessor requesting the 2019 assessment data in Excel Format. The assessor would create the file and send it to me via an email attachment. After receiving my email, the assessor exported the file and sent to me as an email attachment 4 days later! In 2020, Evans Supervisor Mary Hosler changed past town policy and required a Freedom Of Information Law (FOIL) request for the data. At that point in time, the Town of Evans denied all requests every year going forward. Mary Hosler, the town's FOIL Appeal Officer, denied all appeals for the data.
