In 2007, 8991 Iroquois was the personal residence of Deputy Supervisor Karen Erickson. Her "final' assessment was increased by $30,000. An assessment challenge required comparable properties to justify an assessment reduction. 8991 Iroquois was a very good comparable property for many other property owners even after the $30,000 increase. Some will call this an "outlier" example. However, the next example will debunk that claim.
